Seehuetter Commerce Data
Last updated 28 August 2026
The short version. The feed checker runs entirely in your browser. The store you type is never sent to us. We count page visits, without cookies and without personal data. Payments are handled by Gumroad, not by us.
Dominik Seehütter, sole trader, Germany. Contact: seehuetterdominik@gmail.com. This is a small independent operation, not a company.
Nothing leaves your browser. When you enter a store domain, your own browser
requests that store's public /products.json file directly and analyses it locally.
The domain you type is not transmitted to us, not logged by us, and not stored anywhere. We
cannot see which stores are checked.
We only ever read data a store publishes publicly and without authentication. We never access customer records, orders, personal data or anything behind a login, and we do not work around robots.txt or any access restriction.
A page-visit count, via GoatCounter. It records the page visited, the referring page, rough country, and browser type. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not build a profile. GoatCounter does not store full IP addresses.
We use it for one thing: to know whether anyone is finding the site at all. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding whether the site works (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Purchases are processed by Gumroad, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment, VAT and receipts. Your payment details go to Gumroad, never to us. We receive your email address and the fact of the purchase, and use them only to support that purchase. See Gumroad's own privacy policy.
Paid reports are unlocked with a licence key that your browser checks against Gumroad. That check sends your licence key to Gumroad and nothing else.
A generated analysis of a store's public product feed, delivered as CSV and Excel files. The analysis is produced by software and is offered as-is. It reports what the feed says at the moment it is read. A store may legitimately publish an out-of-stock product — for a pre-order, a seasonal line, or a discontinued item kept for its search ranking — so treat the output as a list of things worth checking rather than a list of mistakes.
If the report does not work or is not what you expected, email seehuetterdominik@gmail.com and you will be refunded. No argument, no form. As a digital product bought from an EU trader you also have the statutory right of withdrawal where it applies.
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold, and may object to processing. In practice we hold almost nothing: an email address if you have purchased, and anonymous visit counts. Email us and we will act on it. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Visit statistics are retained by GoatCounter in the EU. Purchase records are held by Gumroad under its own policy, which may involve transfers outside the EU under its standard safeguards.
If this page changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
